This place has unique charm and the staff here is attentive and friendly.

The hotel was in the central setting to extend visit by another night as ferries cancelled because of sea conditions.

Top quality and spotlessly clean place, splendid view over the garden. Friendly professional and especially helpful employees with service and staff and outstanding food.

The peaceful location near Peter's Port and Peter's Cobo Bay is impeccably maintained.

A very comfortable and clean hotel, and quiet despite being on a main road. As Guernsey is very small, the hotel, which is on the outskirts of St Peter Port, also has easy access to the beaches on the other side of the island. The staff were all very pleasant. We had two evening meals which were both very good, with fresh caught fish and seafood. The hotel is on a main bus route, and close to another, and we managed without a car for the week we were there; bus travel around the island is cheap, though the buses are not frequent and finish early. Hotel also has pretty gardens and a heated outdoor pool.

The hotel lounges are actually rather small, and no-one really used them. As the hotel is not within walking distance of any entertainment, there was nothing to do in the evening really but eat and retire to the bedroom. (However, Guernsey is not anyway a destination for clubbing or an active night life.) Our room was rather hot at night, though otherwise very comfortable. There is no lift, but staff will take up luggage.

This place is welcoming and tidy with smart, amiable staff in a magnificent location right by an aquarium.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Warm and comfortable hotel, with friendly staff and good quality reasonably priced food.

The only negative was the shower which was a trickle as there appeared to be no water pressure.

There was some road noise in late evening and early morning as the road is fairly close to St Peter Port. Carvery restaurant was very popular with locals and guests and although i am not a fan of them, the quality was good. The other menu was of a standard commensurate with with 3* hotel.

The breakfast was fresh and savoury with very good coffee. the room was nicely furnished and had all the essentials like a hair dryer, shower caps, and bath sheets. - the location of the hotel was peaceful, just a pleasant stroll away from Saumarez Park.

the resturant was great, the choice of evening meals was outstanding
